The novel tells about Juliette Ferrars, a broken, lonely girl, tormented by her own abilities and deadly touch.
She was locked up in a mental institution for something beyond her control. And after a while an institution called the Reestablishment decided to turn it into a weapon, to use it to harm and kill the remaining people in the torn world.
The novel Shatter Me begins in a small room with one window, four walls, and an area of 144 square feet.
Trapped in a small room for 264 days without touching another human, Juliette longs to feel others, but her touch is deadly.
She is completely alone and spends her day in silence writing in her notebook.
Juliet cannot touch people, she has been locked up in a sanatorium by the re-establishment government on charges of murder.
Every time someone attacks her, Juliette's power causes severe pain to him, when she pushes him away, it is fatal.
Juliet was left in cruel isolation, she had not spoken a word for 264 days, she was forgotten.
At this time, disease, poverty and global warming are destroying the world's population outside the sanatorium.
Juliette's world soon changed when two men entered her life, and, getting acquainted with Adam, she realized that he is a person from her past and knows about her powers.
Adam becomes a part of Juliette's life and helps her gain confidence in herself and the surrounding world again.
It then becomes clear that Adam can touch Juliette without fear and without getting hurt at all.
As the events of the novel shatter me unfold, it becomes clear that he has known her for a long time and has intimate feelings for her.
With Adam realizing the malicious intentions of the Reestablishment foundation to exploit Juliette, Adam runs away with Juliette to the House of his younger brother James, and is forced to live with him for a period of time to be able to hide Juliette out of sight.
Adam and Juliette's whereabouts are soon revealed and the events of the novel shatter me escalate .
Then Kenji Kishimoto, one of Adam's colleagues in the army, appears, persuades Adam and Juliette to flee with him on the pretext that he has a safer place, but soon they are caught by the institution and arrested, and when Adam tried to resist he was shot and received a non-fatal wound.
Juliette is locked in a remote place but soon manages to escape and finds Adam nearby bleeding from his wound, she manages to take him and flee to the side of the rebels and join them.

Which Shatter Me book is the spiciest? honestly that novella isn't worth reading but fracture me definitely was in my opinion. Raghad♡ 1. Believe me is the one with the most spice, it has explicit scenes. Spicy scenes in the other books are not as detailed.
